READ CAREFULLY! THERE IS MORE TO IT THAN JUST DROPPING YOUR SONG!
Playing your music costs us money—but we will never charge you to play it.
We’re musicians too. We know the blood, sweat, and tears that go into writing, recording, and promoting songs. But here’s something to consider: creating a licensed web radio show is also a massive amount of work. It’s time-consuming, and we do it for free—for you and your band!
Let’s be real—big FM stations will probably never play your unsigned music. They have to cover huge expenses: broadcasting licenses, equipment, employees, rent, electricity, and more. If they don’t play mainstream hits, people won’t tune in. No listeners = no ad revenue = no station. That’s just how it works.
We’re different. We don’t have those massive costs, but we do have to pay a SOCAN license to stay legal.
If we could at least cover the cost of that yearly license, it would be perfect. Every small contribution helps keep the station running and ensures that we can continue playing your music legally—which means you get paid royalties!
So, if you appreciate what we do, help us help you—buy us a coffee via PayPal or credit card.
Shoutout to you if you do! 🙌
Are you an artist? Read this.
Don't be selfish—give back! Artists and small web radios are in the same boat. You want your music to be heard? We want our station to be heard too. Supporting each other makes the entire community stronger.
💡 Here’s What You Need to Do (With Real Examples!):
Support the Community
Imagine you’re a new artist, and someone shares your song on their page. It feels great, right? Now return the favor! Support other musicians and web radios, even if their style isn’t exactly what you’d listen to. It’s about recognizing their effort.
Engage on Social Media
If a band follows you or a radio shares your music, don’t ignore them. Take 30 seconds to like their page, drop a comment, or share their post. Example: "Thanks to XYZ Radio for playing my track! You guys rock! 🎶🔥 #SupportTheScene"
Show Appreciation
Let’s say a fan leaves a comment on your latest single. Instead of just ignoring it, reply with a simple "Thanks for listening! It means a lot!" That small effort builds connections. The same applies to web radios—if they spin your song, acknowledge it!
Respect Web Radios
If a station plays your song, don’t take it for granted. A quick social media post tagging them properly can help boost their audience, which in turn helps you. Example: "Huge thanks to ABC Web Radio for featuring my song today! Check them out for great indie music! 🎧🔥"
Follow Up, But Don’t Spam
It’s okay to reach out to a radio and ask if they’ve received your submission. But don’t message them every day demanding an answer. Instead, try: "Hey [Radio Name], just checking in on my song submission. Thanks for all you do for independent artists!"
⚠️ If you don’t take the time to support others, why should they take the time for you?
At the end of the day, this isn’t a competition—it’s a community of music lovers and creators. Do your part, and we all grow together.

🎧 What Happens Next?
Give us a couple of weeks to listen—we carefully go through every submission.
If your track fits our station, we’ll get back to you! And if it don't, we'll get back to you anyways!
Before you send your track, make sure your MP3 is mastered at -14 LUFS (Loudness Units Full Scale).
Here’s why:
🚫 No Loudness War Here!
Ever noticed how some web radios have songs that blast your ears, while others are way too quiet?
That’s because many don’t normalize their audio, and it creates a terrible listening experience.
💡 Loudness Affects Perception
Studies show that when two songs play back-to-back, people tend to prefer the louder one—even if it’s not the better song! That’s not fair to artists who mix their music properly.
✅ We Keep It Fair
By mastering all tracks to the same loudness level, we make sure every song gets an equal shot. Your music will sound just as polished and professional as the next, without volume spikes or dips.
So take a moment to check your master before sending it in—it makes a huge difference!
Looking forward to hearing your music! 🎶
